What to Expect

Interested in becoming a new patient?

When joining our office family, you might find our clinic to be a little different than other chiropractic offices. Here we have a more relaxed approach to care. Dr. Lindsey wants your experience to be more than just an adjustment or quick fix. She wants to build a relationship that is honest and caring and focuses on increasing your quality and outlook on life.

Feel of the Clinic

The culture of this clinic is to be inclusive toward all people; to support mommas during preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond; and to create an environment which excites children and encourages them not to fear adjustments. All age ranges and stages of life are great candidates for chiropractic care. Dr. Lindsey loves being able to provide care for the entire family; she has a passion for women’s health, pregnant women, infants, and children but loves caring for all who need it.

Philosophy

Dr. Lindsey’s philosophy is to treat every patient with respect regardless of the patient’s background or status. She believes everyone deserves excellent healthcare that is not dictated by one’s job, income, race, or anything else; Dr. Lindsey wants every patient to feel valued and cared for.

First Visit

On the first visit, Dr. Lindsey will sit down and have a conversation with you to help assess where you are at, what your goals are, and the ways in which she can help you. She will take a detailed health history to be sure that she understands your past and anything that may play a role in your current health. She will then perform a physical exam to make sure that Chiropractic is the best option for you. After the exam, Dr. Lindsey will explain what an adjustment looks and feels like. She encourages this entire process to be a conversation so if you have questions or concerns they will be addressed throughout the discussion and not just at the end. Depending on what Dr. Lindsey finds during this conversation and exam she will decide if you will be adjusted the same day or if further steps are required before adjusting. Dr. Lindsey will discuss your specific care plan with you and answer all questions before you leave the office.

Pregnancy

Dr. Lindsey thinks building trust and a relationship with the patient is especially important for pregnant and postpartum moms who are in a phase of life that can be so challenging and oftentimes underestimated. The woman’s body goes through many changes during pregnancy and with that can come discomfort, pain, worries, and trepidation. In many cases, chiropractic is able to significantly decrease or get rid of this pain and discomfort. By building a care plan Dr. Lindsey can support mommas as they get ready to embark on their next journey with confidence. It is our goal for women to not have to suffer or tolerate the discomforts that can be associated with pregnancy but rather to flourish and enjoy their pregnancy journey.

We also want to support our moms that are not experiencing any pain or discomfort. Dr. Lindsey is Webster Certified which is a technique she uses that is specific for pregnancy that help keep your body and pelvis aligned and balanced. This provides your baby the opportunity to find the ideal position for birth and can lead to a more natural, non-invasive birth process. In addition to adjustments, she would love to empower you to have the pregnancy journey that you want and help you to be educated in your options. She is also able to provide exercises, tissue releases, and suggestions on how to stand and sit intentionally to help keep you feeling your best during your pregnancy.

Children

As children grow, their bodies undergo many changes and chiropractic can help keep their bodies performing optimally. Whether your kiddo takes tumbles from playing hard or is struggling with a specific issue, chiropractic can help your child to live their best life.
